Why Leadership Roundtable?

Leadership Roundtables turn the priorities identified by the FMF Ministerial Roundtable into practical, measurable action. Convening 15–20 senior leaders under the Chatham House Rule, each closed-door session creates a trusted environment for candid discussion around a critical global mineral supply challenge. Participants do more than exchange ideas: they help shape recommendations, identify responsible organizations, and agree on trackable actions. Outcomes are reviewed and advanced at the following year’s Roundtable, creating continuity, accountability, and lasting impact.

The Format

A closed room, built around a single theme

Leadership Roundtables sit within the Leadership track at Future Minerals Forum 2027 and run across all three days of the Forum. Each session lasts 75 to 90 minutes, is held under closed-door conditions, and is led by the host organisation.

A Leadership Roundtable is not a conference panel. There is no audience and no stage. Nor is it the Ministerial Roundtable, which is the Forum’s government-led leadership platform. It is a working session: a small group of senior participants convened around a question the host has set, with the invitation list built by FMF to match it.

What Hosting Delivers

Set the question

Your organisation leads a session on a priority issue of its choosing. The agenda is developed alongside the FMF content team and aligned to the 2027 programme. You are shaping the discussion, not contributing to someone else’s.

Sit with the people who decide

FMF curates the invitation list for each roundtable. The room is built around the issue rather than around who happens to be available ministers, chief executives, investors and senior officials relevant to the question you have set.

Take the conversation further

The engagement continues beyond the session: post-event insights drawn from the discussion, a company profile on the FMF website and event app, six conference and networking passes, and three seats at the FMF Dinner.

What is Included?

The Roundtable in Context

FMF exists to bring together global stakeholders, strengthen mineral value chains and create meaningful outcomes that support long-term development, investment and international collaboration.

Part of the Forum, not adjacent to it

The Leadership track runs alongside the Plenary, Investment, Innovation, Country Showcases and Saudi Minerals Hub programmes throughout Future Minerals Forum 2027, taking place in Riyadh from 12–14 January. Roundtables are scheduled during the Forum’s core hours, allowing participants to take part as part of their wider Forum program.

Fmf Ecosystem

Start the Conversation

A limited number of Leadership Roundtables are available to host at Future Minerals Forum 2027. Sessions are allocated as themes are confirmed, and the 2027 programme closes in early November 2026. If a theme on this page matches your priorities, the earlier the conversation starts, the more likely it is that the session is still available.
