Dennis Gibson has over 40 years of international mining experience, including roles with Rand Mines in South Africa and 20 years with global mining giant Rio Tinto in various operational and strategic capacities. His career has spanned continents, with work in Africa, Australia, Asia, the Middle East, and the Americas. He also served as Chief Technical Officer for Mining at Black & Veatch, a leading global engineering, consulting, and construction firm.

As President of Snowline Group, Dennis offers strategic market entry advice, leveraging his extensive international experience, deep industry knowledge, and broad network. Currently, he is the Chief Sustainability & Technical Officer at Future Element, a company specializing in mining and tailings reprocessing, and he chairs the Critical Minerals Association – USA.

Dennis is passionate about fostering collaboration and driving sustainability within the industry and among its stakeholders. He has been actively involved with FMF since the inaugural FMF in 2022.
Dennis holds a BSc and MSc in civil engineering from Natal University in South Africa and an executive MBA from Henley Management College in the UK.
