Gareth is Chairman of Ninety-One Plc., a global business with over $165 billion of assets under management, providing investment products and services across both developed and emerging markets.

Gareth is also Chairman of EnQuest Plc., an integrated energy company, which responsibly manages and decommissions mature oil and gas assets, whilst creating new energy transition opportunities.

Gareth has worked in various forms of mining over the past four decades. He was Chairman of Norilsk Nickel and CEO of De Beers. Gareth was instrumental in re-shaping not only the world’s leading diamond company, but also the diamond industry.
