Sahar is an Investment Director at Manara Minerals, a JV between PIF and Ma’aden focused on international mining investments.

She joined Manara’s investment team at the company’s inception in 2023 and played a leading role in the execution of its marquee investment for 10% stake in Vale Base Metals.

Prior to that, Sahar spent a decade working in investment banking advisory across Riyadh, New York and Toronto with the majority of her experience being in global M&A within the metals and mining industry.

Most recently, she was Vice President of Mining & Metals at Barclays Capital in Toronto where she advised on multi-billion dollar transformative transactions as well as divestments of mining assets in Africa and South America.
She started her career as an Investment Banking Analyst in Saudi Fransi Capital.

Sahar holds an MBA from Georgetown University.
