FMF is the only international platform driven from Saudi Arabia to unite governments, investors, and innovators to secure the minerals essential for a sustainable, tech-enabled future. It’s not just where deals are made—it’s where a new era of development, prosperity, and stability begins.
Since its establishment in 1979, the Saudi Iron and Steel Company (Hadeed) has been recognized as Saudi Arabia’s first fully integrated iron and steel producer, offering a broad range of long and flat steel products. Today, Hadeed stands as the largest steel manufacturer in the Gulf Cooperation Council, supplying high-quality rebar, wire rod, hot-rolled and cold-rolled coils, galvanized steel, and other essential products for the region’s industrial and construction sectors.
Hadeed began producing long steel in 1983 and expanded into flat steel in 1998. Over the years, the company has played a central role in supporting national development by enabling major infrastructure and industrial projects across the Kingdom.
In 2024, the Saudi Iron and Steel Company (Hadeed) entered a new phase of institutional development, with its ownership coming under both the Public Investment Fund and AlRajhi Investment Company. This strategic partnership reinforces the company’s long-term competitiveness and strengthens its contribution to Saudi Arabia’s industrial growth and regional leadership in the steel sector.
